Often overlooked but never disappointing West Iceland offers everything you’d like to see on an Icelandic day trip: glaciers, waterfalls and geysers. West Iceland is also often dubbed the saga land because it’s the scene of many of Iceland’s most beloved sagas.

On this tour you will visit the beautiful Hvalfjörður (the whale fjord), Hraunfossar waterfalls, Deildatunguhver hot spring, the charming Borgarnes plus some extra spots if time allows for it. The Borgarfjörður area is renowned for its beauty and we’ll make sure to stop often so you can photograph its splendor.
